Why should you take this test?
This test is useful when a parent is missing or deceased. It helps to determine paternity or maternity through DNA from grandparents. This is particularly relevant in cases where a parent is unavailable. In some cases, the child’s and grandparents’ DNA alone can provide the necessary results.
Who provides the DNA samples?
If the father is missing, his parents (the paternal grandparents), or if the mother is missing, her parents (the maternal grandparents), along with the child, will provide samples.
What is the turnaround time for results?
The results will be available in 2-3 business days and will be emailed to you.
What should you bring to your appointment?
Please bring a valid government-issued ID for all individuals providing samples. Children under 18 do not need an ID but will be photographed.
